Ⅲ.Operating Instructions

Before first use, boil water in the rice cooker. A slight odor may appear during initial heating. This is normal and will disappear after a few minutes.

  • Measure the required amount of rice using the measuring cup and place it into a separate container. Rinse the rice thoroughly.Full cup = 120 ml. Maximum rice capacity: 9 cups.
  • Place the washed rice into the inner pot and add water according to the water level markings.Example: For 4 cups of rice, add water up to level 4.
  • Wipe the outer surface of the inner pot dry before placing it into the cooker body. Ensure the rice is evenly spread across the bottom. Rotate the inner pot gently left and right so it fully contacts the heating plate. Do not allow any foreign objects between the inner pot and heating plate.
  • Close the lid slowly, then press it down until you hear a click sound.
  • Plug in the power supply. The “Keep Warm” indicator will light up. Press the switch to start cooking and the “Cook” indicator will turn on. Otherwise, the rice cooker remains in keep-warm mode and will not cook.
  • When cooking is complete, the cooking switch will automatically pop up. The “Keep Warm” indicator will light up, and the cooker will enter automatic keep-warm mode.
  • For steaming food, add an appropriate amount of water into the inner pot first, then place food into the steaming tray. Follow steps 4–6. Once cooking is complete, switch off the “Cook” button.
  • Before serving, unplug the power cord first, then remove the inner pot or food.

 

Notes

  • Do not connect power before starting cooking.
  • Water level markings are for standard rice cooking only and are not suitable for porridge reference. Adjust water amount according to personal preference for rice or porridge.
  • Do not exceed the maximum water level, whether cooking rice or porridge.

 

Ⅳ.Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Unplug the power cord and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or rinse it under a running tap.
  • Remove the inner pot and steaming tray from the rice cooker. Wash with mild dishwashing detergent and water, then wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or corrosive liquids.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storage.
  • For long-term storage, keep the product in a dry and cool place. Avoid dust, high temperature, and direct sunlight.

 

Ⅴ. Safety Precautions

  • Read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons with physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or by those lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised by a responsible person for safety.
  • Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
  • Before use, ensure the rated voltage matches the local power supply. Only use the original or manufacturer-specified power cord and accessories.
  • Use a grounded electrical outlet.
  • Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cord, or unit is damaged, cracked, or leaking electricity. Do not disassemble or modify the product. Contact customer service if any abnormality occurs.
  • Do not plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
  • If smoke, unusual odor, overheating, or deformation occurs during operation, immediately disconnect the power and stop using the appliance. Contact customer service if necessary.
  • This product is for household use only. Do not use it for commercial or professional purposes or any functions not described in this manual. Warranty is void if not used as instructed.
  • The appliance must be operated under supervision. Do not leave it running unattended. Unplug before leaving, assembling, disassembling, cleaning, or repairing.
  • Do not touch high-temperature parts directly to avoid burns.
  • Do not use on or near carpets, plastic, or other heat-sensitive surfaces. Do not place steam-sensitive items above the appliance.
  • Steam is released from the steam vent during use. Take care to avoid burns.
  • Use only in regions below 2000 m altitude. Performance may be affected above this altitude.
  • Do not share the same multi-outlet socket with other appliances.
  • Place the appliance on a stable surface. Do not place it in humid areas or near heat sources.
  • Do not wash rice directly in the inner pot or strike it, as deformation may affect cooking performance.
  • Do not operate the appliance without the inner pot or when the inner pot contains no water.
  • Use only the included rice spoon (or wooden spoon) when serving. Do not use metal utensils to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
  • Do not place the inner pot on other heat sources. Do not replace it with other containers on the heating plate.
  • Do not touch the steam vent or cover it with cloth to avoid malfunction or burns.
  • Do not pull or twist the power cord forcefully. Do not unplug with wet hands. Always hold the plug when disconnecting.
  • Do not leave a rice paddle or any foreign objects in the inner pot during keep-warm mode.
  • Ensure the lid is properly closed during keep-warm mode to prevent drying out.
  • Do not mix cold rice, leftovers, or other food with freshly cooked rice during keep-warm mode.
  • Extended keep-warm use may cause discoloration or odor. Do not exceed 6 hours.
  • This appliance is not suitable for cooking acidic foods.
  • This is a mechanical rice cooker. When cooking porridge, soup, or desserts, there is no anti-overflow function. Open-lid cooking is recommended to prevent overflow. For non-rice foods, manual timing and shutdown are required.
  • Do not touch the heating plate immediately after cooking to avoid burns.

 

 

VI. Troubleshooting
