III. Operation Instructions

· Usage Instructions:

  • Before first use, boil water in the inner pot. A slight odor may be released during boiling; this is normal and will disappear after a few minutes.
  • Use the measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice (max 90ml per cup) into a separate container and rinse thoroughly. For cooking, the maximum capacity is 9 cups of rice. The recommended rice-to-water ratio is 1:1.2.
  • Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot and add water up to the corresponding water level mark. For example, for 9 cups of rice, add water to the '9' mark.
  • Wipe the outer surface of the inner pot dry, then place it into the cooker body. Spread the rice evenly on the bottom. Gently rotate the inner pot left and right to ensure full contact between the pot bottom and the heating plate. No foreign objects should be trapped between the inner pot and heating plate.
  • To close the lid, lower it gently, then press down until you hear a click.
  • After plugging in, the display will fully light up for 1 second and emit a 'DI' sound, then enter standby mode showing '----'.
  • Press the Function button to select a menu. The corresponding indicator light will flash 5 times, then the program will start automatically. Example: Press the 'Cook' function key; the indicator will flash for 5 seconds, then the rice cooking program will begin.
  • When cooking is complete, the display shows 'bb' and the rice cooker automatically switches to keep-warm mode.
  • For steaming, first add an appropriate amount of water into the inner pot, place the food into the steaming basket, then follow steps 6, 7, and 8 above.
  • Before serving, unplug the power cord, then remove the inner pot or food.

· Button Functions

Function buttons: Timer, Warm/Cancel, Reheat, Mode, +, -.

Menu buttons: Fast Cook, Slow Cook, Soup/Porridge, Stew, Cake, Yogurt.

  • Timer:In standby mode, after selecting a function, press this key. The default delay time of 0:30 will be displayed. The delay time adjustment range is 0:30 to 24:00. Briefly press the Timer key to increase in 30-minute increments. If no operation is performed for 5 seconds after setting the delay time, the parameters are automatically confirmed and countdown begins. Pressing this key during operation is invalid.All functions have a Timer/Delay function.While adjusting the delay time or during countdown, press the "Keep Warm/Cancel" key to cancel the Timer function.
  • Warm/Cancel:In standby mode, press this key to enter keep warm mode; the display shows "bb". After selecting a function and starting or during heating process, press this key to enter standby mode.
  • Reheat Key:Press this key to enter heating time adjustment. The default heating time is "00:25", and the adjustable range is "0:10~3:00".Press or hold the "+" key to increase the heating time by 10 minutes; press or hold the "-" key to decrease it by 10 minutes.If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the appliance enters heating work mode. Press the "Keep Warm/Cancel" key to exit work mode and return to standby mode.
  • Mode:Works only when the appliance is not in operation. Used to select functions.In standby mode, you can use the "Mode" button to select different cooking functions. Briefly press the Mode button to cycle through functions; the indicator light for the selected function will flash, and the display will show the corresponding required time.If no operation is performed for 5 seconds after selecting a function, it will automatically enter the working state.
  • +:When adjusting function time, press the "+" key to adjust the cooking time. Briefly press the "+" key to increase by 10 minutes; press and hold the "+" key to increase rapidly.
  • -:When adjusting function time, press the "-" key to adjust the cooking time. Briefly press the "-" key to decrease by 10 minutes; press and hold the "-" key to decrease rapidly.

 

IV. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire appliance in water or rinse it under a tap.
  • Remove the inner pot and steaming basket from the rice cooker. Rinse them with household dishwashing liquid and water, then dry them with a soft cloth. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or corrosive liquids for cleaning.
  • If rice grains or dirt adhere, gently rub with fine sandpaper (32D) and then wipe with a soft cloth.
  • Clean the inner lid, seal ring gaps, and exhaust valve regularly to prevent odors.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing.
  • Store the product in a dry, cool place away from dust, high temperatures, and direct sunlight.

 

V. Precautions

  • Read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it for future reference.
  • This product is not intended for use by persons with physical, sensory, mental impairments, or lack of experience and knowledge, including children, unless they are supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Do not allow children to play with the product.
  • Keep the product out of reach of children.
  • Before use, ensure the rated voltage matches the local power supply voltage. Only use the original or manufacturer-specified power cord.
  • Use a grounded power outlet.
  • Do not use if the plug, power cord, or product is damaged, cracked, or leaking electricity. Do not disassemble or modify the product on your own. Contact customer service if any abnormality occurs.
  • Do not plug or unplug the product or operate it with wet hands.
  • If the device emits smoke, abnormal odor, excessive heat, or deforms during operation or charging, immediately unplug and stop using it. Contact customer service if necessary.
  • This product is for household use only. Do not use for commercial, professional purposes, or functions not specified in the manual. Improper use voids the warranty and the manufacturer assumes no liability for any losses.
  • Use the product only under supervision. Do not leave it running unattended. Disconnect the power before leaving, assembling, disassembling, cleaning, or repairing.
  • Avoid direct skin contact with hot parts to prevent burns.
  • Do not use the product on or near heat-sensitive surfaces such as carpets or plastics. Do not place objects that may be damaged by steam directly above the product.
  • The product emits steam from the steam outlet during use. Be careful to avoid steam burns.
  • Do not share the same multi-outlet extensionsocket with other appliances.
  • Place on a stable, level surface. Do not place the rice cooker in damp areas or near heat sources.
  • Do not use the inner pot to wash rice or strike it, as deformation may affect cooking performance.
  • Do not operate without the inner pot in place or without water in the pot.
  • When serving rice, use the provided rice paddle (or a wooden one). Do not use metal utensils to avoid scratching the non-stick coating.
  • Do not place the inner pot on other heating appliances. Do not substitute the inner pot with other containers on the heating plate.
  • Do not touch the steam vent to avoid burns. Do not cover the steam vent with cloth, as it may cause malfunction.
  • Do not pull or twist the power cord forcefully. Do not plug or unplug with wet hands. When unplugging, hold the plug itself to pull out. Unplug when not in use.
  • Do not leave the rice paddle or any other objects inside the inner pot during keep-warm mode.
  • Close the lid tightly during keep-warm mode to prevent the rice from drying out.
  • Do not mix cold rice, leftover rice, or other foods with freshly cooked rice during keep-warm mode.
  • Prolonged keep-warm may cause discoloration and off-flavor. Do not exceed 6 hours of keep-warm.
  • This product is not suitable for cooking acidic foods!
  • Do not touch the heating plate immediately after cooking to avoid burns.
