Ⅲ.Operation Instructions
Before using your appliance for the first time
- Remove all packaging materials
- Clean the plates using a damp sponge rinse and dry carefully.
- After applying a fine coating oil to the plates, close the appliance and plug it in.
- The indicator light will come on.
- Allow it to heat up for several minutes to get rid of the new smell.
Notice: When your Sandwich Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.
Using your appliance
- Close the Sandwich Maker and plug it into the wall outlet, you will notice that the power light will come on, indicating that the Sandwich Maker has begun preheating.
- It will take approximately 2~4 minutes to reach baking temperature, and the ready indicator will turn on to show preheating is complete.
- Prepare the raw materials for making a sandwich; Each sandwich needs two pieces of bread and the right ingredients, a little amount of butter shall be put on the surface touching the bread and heating plates, which makes the sandwich appear gold in color.
- Open the lid, the prepared raw materials of the sandwich can be put into the sandwich maker for making a sandwich if you wish;
- Cook for about 2-4 minutes (the ready indicator will turn off during this period). When the ready indicator lights up again or the bread turns golden brown, the sandwich is done. The time can be adjusted according to personal taste.
- The effect and time of making a sandwich depends on the type of sandwich ,ingredients and personal taste;
- Use the wood or plastic tools (such as small scoop) to take sandwich out of the product. The sharp and hard metal tools shall not be used for such purpose. If you want to make more sandwiches, you can put the ingredients of the sandwich into the product after the green indicator come on again;
- Once you are finished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave unit open to cool.
Ⅳ. Cleaning and Maintenance
- Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it and allow it cool down.
- Never place the appliance in water or under running water.
- Wipe cooking plates with a soft to remove food residue. For baked on food residue squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue then clean with a non abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet kitchen paper over the grill to moisten the food residue. Avoid the use of scouring pads or harsh detergents as they may damage the surface. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth and replace.
- Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating.
- Do not use metal utensils to remove your foods, they can damage the non-stick surface.
- Wipe the outside of the Sandwich Maker with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
- Do not place in the dishwasher.
- Always unplug the Sandwich Maker before storage.
- Always make sure the Sandwich Maker is cool and dry before string.
- To minimize storage space in your kitchen, the sandwich maker can be stored vertically.

SPECIAL SAFETY NOTES
- The baking surfaces get very hot.
- Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant surface or mat.
- In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is enough space all around.
- Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section.
- The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich toaster near or below curtains and other inflammable materials!
- A risk of fire and electrical shock exists in all electrical appliances and may cause personal injury or death. Please follow all safety instructions.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the Waffle Maker yourself. Take it to an authorized service station for examination and repair.
