III. Instruction for Use
- Before Use
- It is recommended to clean your hair before styling. After cleaning, dry and comb to keep the hair smooth and free of tangles.
- Ensure that there is no foreign object on the surface of the product to avoid accidents caused by high temperature.
- During Use
- Insert the power plug into the socket; the machine will beep once. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to start the machine.
- Press the power/ temperature adjustment button to adjust temperature. The product is equipped with three temperature settings: 160℃, 180℃ and 200℃, and the default temperature is 160℃. The selected temperature will flash on the temperature display during use.
- For the first use, it is recommended to try the temperature one by one from low to high. 160℃ is recommended for fine and soft hair, 180℃ is recommended for general hair quality, 200℃ is recommended for coarse and hard hair.
- Grab an appropriate amount of hair by hand, and clip the middle and upper parts of your hair into the U-shaped hair groove (winding type placement), or place it between the heating rod and curling barrel (internal clamp type placement).
- Hold the left/right rotation button until hair is fully wound around the barrel, then continue holding for a few more seconds.
- Release the rotation button and gently slide out the hair.
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to power off. Unplug the product after use.
Note:
- The product may be stained when is used for dyed hair. This is normal.
- Slight smoke may occur during use, that is due to the evaporation of the excess oil on the surface of hair. This is normal and makes hair fluffier and more stylish.
- Switching the rotation button in the middle of styling may cause hair knotting. If this occurs, detangle the hair in the opposite direction and restyle it.
IV. Clean and Maintenance
- Always unplug the product and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
- Use slightly wet cloth to clean the product.
- Store the product after it totally cools down.
- DO NOT wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause wear to the cord.
V. Operating Precautions
- DO NOT touch the heating rod during use, as it will become hot.
- Please be sure to use 110V-240V voltage and do not leave the product unattended when the power switch is on.
- When the product is working, do not cover its surface with anything, and do not allow the power cord to touch the hot part of the product.
- Pull out the power plug from the socket after use.
- If the power cord is damaged, stop using it immediately to avoid danger.
- Immediately stop using and unplug the power plug if any abnormality or failure occurs during use to avoid injury or fire.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised not to play with the appliance.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off;
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Please contact customer service.
- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
